The FCAT Sample Test Books and Answer Key Books are produced to prepare students to take the tests in mathematics and reading (grades 3-10), in science (grades 5, 8, and 11), and in writing (grades 4, 8, and 10). The Sample Test Books are designed to help students become familiar with FCAT by providing helpful hints and offering practice answering questions in different formats. The Sample Answer Keys are designed to be used by teachers to explain to students the answers and solutions to the questions in the Sample Test Books and to identify which Sunshine State Standards benchmark is being tested by the question.

The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics is an NSF supported project that began in 1999 to develop a library of uniquely interactive, web-based virtual manipulatives or concept tutorials, mostly in the form of Java applets, for mathematics instruction (K-12 emphasis). The project includes dissemination and extensive internal and external evaluation

 

Teach R Kids Math has been designed by children and adults. This allows us to understand and address the math difficulties faced by children at the elementary school level. The combination of online web-based and offline worksheets aims at achieving excellence and a thorough understanding of math fundamentals.

The mission of the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education (ENC) is to identify effective curriculum resources, create high-quality professional development materials, and disseminate useful information and products to improve K-12 mathematics and science teaching and learning.

The goal of the Mathematics Archives is to provide organized Internet access to a wide variety of mathematical resources.

The primary emphasis is on materials which are used in the teaching of mathematics. Currently the Archives is particularly strong in its collection of educational software. Other areas, ranging from laboratory notebooks and problem sets to lecture notes and reports on innovative methods, are growing.

 

Math Central is a service for people involved in mathematics education from kindergarten to grade twelve -- a meeting place for teachers to share resources, a service to teachers, students and parents who may need an answer to a mathematical question and a facility to allow teachers to carry on a dialogue amongst themselves.
